SPAN 301: Comp/Oral Practice |
In this class I had the opportunity to develop my writing skills by writing narratives and short stories. In the same way, this course had a focus on grammar and punctuation areas. During classes we always practiced the correct way to use punctuation using sentences or paragraphs. Sometimes we worked in teams to had discussions on any subject, all this with the intention of share our opinions and then writing our thoughts, developing our ideas in a correct order to have a better writing. As part of our homework every two weeks we had a writing project. We wrote stories, reports on any topic or reflections about ourselves. At the end of the course we had a presentation in which we expressed everything we learned during the semester. After that, we wrote an essay describing very detailed what happened in a small fragment of a film, and then in the presentation we explain what we had already written. At the end of the semester I was able to realize that thanks to what I had already learned I could write much better and had a better fluency in writing my essays.
